Our Natural Raw Honey. Harvested from our hives throughout the late spring and summer months. Depending on the time of harvest and location of the hives, the honey will slightly differ in both colour and taste. Extremely versatile and will complement many dishes and drinks.
Natural Raw Honey
We harvest our raw Lancashire honey from our hives late in the Sumer, usually at the end of August or the first week of September. This also gives the bees enough time to build enough stores for winter.
A light runny honey, sweet and floral in taste. Mainly produced from the bees foraging on Himalayan Balsam (also known as Indian balsam), and maybe some early ivy.
This is perfect for drizzling on toast, spooning in teas, coffees, over roast veg. Probably the most versatile honey within our range. Due to its light floral taste, we use this for all our honey infusions.
